| Description | We took on support and development of an existing billing system, from an existing supplier who wanted to concentrate on more core activities. It was expected we would have the support for 2 - to 3 years until the client replaces their current meter montoring system. |

| Details | The front end of the application connects to two databases. One is a Landmark property database, the other a Dream financials database. Our task is to keep the system going, but six months into the contract we had to redesign the database connectivity to work with the two databases on SQL Azure. The contract also entails sanity-checking the newly added data on a monthly basis looking for gaps in the imported data. We designed a checking routine in P-Ex DataMining, which we are still, doing at the date of writing. The most challenging part of this is that we are working not only with the Landlord, but with three of their suppliers. |
