P-Ex Cloud
Supply Chain but like a Phone App
While you're out and about, you don't want the hassle of doing back-office work, but you might need to:
- Get your client's address and phone details
- Get the trading history for a supplier or customer
- Book a PO number for a supplier
- Check stock levels of that vital part
- Set up a new client or supplier
- Enter sales orders, purchase orders or requisitions
Back at the Office
All you need is an internet connection and you have got access to your tried and trusted supply chain solution, but using a new front-end program. The database is hosted on the cloud with a fully featured Windows application integrated with MS Office and Outlook email. There is no remote desktop session and no limitations imposed by web browsers.
The program deals with your sales and purchase orders and enables you to raise sales invoices and check purchase invoices. It is for:
- Order processing
- Receipting
- Purchase Invoice matching
- Stock control
- Despatching
- Sales Invoice generation
You can send orders in PDF format through Outlook, get a list of outstanding orders straight into Excel and view usage and amend requirements on screen.
Who is it for?
The system is a scalable SME system, and will work for:
- Companies with one employee but with products to buy, manage and sell
- Companies with a small back office function
- Companies with dedicated office-based sales people, stock controllers or a purchasing team, where you might need up to 50-199 users on the system
- People who work from home.
- companies who don't want to buy expensive software.
Important Note
Currently there are no active users of P-Ex Cloud, and the webservices required for it to function are disabled, while we are redevloping the database access layer of the program. However, we could have it all up and running again with a couple of motnhs' notice.

How is it done?
You have your own dedicated database on the cloud. All your data is sent to that database and retrieved from it using the internet. There are no special tools or software required. The only requirements are a small program from us, to make your email experience smoother, and MS Office 2010.
All you do is enter your email address and password, and away you go. Our system takes care of everything else.
Licencing
Licencing consists of a modest setup fee and a monthly fee per named user. We administer the system for you.
Bigger companies can use our hosted desktops to access a full version of the software and do their own configuration.
