P-2 is a mature and robust Windows-based supply chain software application that creates sales and purchase orders, handles stock control and creates invoices to match orders and deliveries. It is designed especially for use by small and medium-sized enterprises as a supply chain solution in the B2B environment. P-2 is intuitive to use and comes at an affordable price.

Implementation

At its simplest it can be implemented in days, not weeks or months. A more complex implementation can control purchasing, stock and sales operations for a multi-company, multi-site, multi-currency organisation with many divisions and departments. It can be bought for use by just one user or for many.

We would be happy to talk to you about making P-2 do what you want to do. We have a number of ways of configuring the software to your individual requirements. However, if you need new functionality and screens added then we will point you at P-Ex instead.

Features

P-2 is a full client-server program for SMEs. It can include any or all of these modules:

There are two versions of P-2:

  • Standalone, containing all its own master files such as customers, suppliers, addresses, stock locations and currencies;
  • Dream, which shares its master data with the Dream financial system, by Unit 4. The Dream version can also integrate with PS Financials.

It can be installed on the customer's network or be hosted on the Suddensource hosting servers. Suddensource will support the application and can also be the system administrator if required.

P-2 stores its data in a Microsoft SQL Server database, making reporting easy. We can help devise the required reports, or you can design your own.

Originally known as DreamSuite and latterly as Proactis 2, P-2 was written by the Proactis group. Following their move into Spend Control for larger and public organisations from 2001, the Proactis Group subcontracted the sale and support of Proactis 2 to Suddensource Ltd in 2003, and in January 2010 they sold the rights to the software to Suddensource. The product has since been re-named and re-launched.
